Somerfield Lodge - Swansea

Lovely hotel, our stay was pleasant overnight.

We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 2 nights, however everything was excellent. Provided breakfast was reasonably good with good view and lovely views, as example, exceeded our expectations. The hotel's position was lovely and stunning, in a nice pub down the main road.

It was a lovely hotel with free internet. The entire staff were really friendly.

The staff were supportive and helped arrange a tee time for us at another course. Breakfast was cooked properly and tasted good.

Charming, Charming, Charming

What a gem! The views over the golf course were amazing, with grazing sheep and ponies adding to the rural charm. The breakfast-cooked to order-was a good start to each day, especially the Welsh cakes which I can't stop thinking about! Plus, the friendly interactions with local club members.

Perfect for a family getaway

A beautiful view of the golf course from the breakfast lounge made for a peaceful atmosphere while munching down on a great meal catered for vegetarians as well.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still a reasonable rate for what we got.

Good for golfing vibes

The views were fine with sheep and horses in sight! The room was cozy and clean, perfect for a short stay. Breakfast was yum, with loads of choices, especially loved those blueberry muffins! Just a bit odd having breakfast at the golf club if you're not golfing.

A Hidden Gem with Modern Comforts!

Staff were accommodating, arranged breakfast even earlier for our hiking plans. Don't miss the local dishes. They were a real highlight! A fantastic spot for exploring the beautiful coastline.

Just a suitable option for a passing visit in Swansea with fantastic value for money. The breakfast offered everything you need, and the staff at breakfast were very nice. Tip, Request a room on the top floor for less noise.

The twin room was cozy with a tv, private bathroom, and shower. Heating was good and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was cooked to order in the clubhouse with beautiful views of the golf course, offering fresh fruit and various cereals. Ample parking was available and staff were very accommodating.

The stay highlighted the amazing views from the golf course, nice. The breakfast selection, including delicious pancakes and a full English, was really good and beautifully prepared. A minor downside was the absence of a handheld showerhead, which would have enhanced the shower experience. The accommodation was well-maintained, clean, and quiet.

The twin room offered ample space for our family with comfy beds and a well-organized layout. We appreciated the range of refreshments provided.

Some areas of the room could have been attended to more thoroughly.

I had a good one-night stay at Somerfield Lodge. The staff embraced a warm, cute ambiance. Breakfast exceeded expectations with generous portions and great variety. Despite the noisy activities nearby, the cozy room offered a restful experience overall. I'd gladly return for the superb views.

We really enjoyed our stay at Somerfield Lodge. The location of the lodge is marvelous, situated in a nice pub down the main road.- It was fantastic being so close to the beach and the golf course with grazing sheep in South Wales.
